Shared 12 oz. can. Pours amber brown with an off-white head. Moderate lacing. Nose is toasted malt with some faint fruity notes. Taste is roasted malt, nuts, and grains. Has some light chocolate undertones. It’s perhaps a little thin, but overall, it’s good.

Can from Whole Foods - Lamar. Agree with Cosmic Scherzo, spot on for an altbier. Dry and nutty, medium murky brown/amber body, soft tight beige head. Aroma and taste both accurately represent this Dusseldorf style. Somebody did their homework.

Draft at the source. Clear brown color, tan head. Aroma of cocoa and light caramel. Taste is more caramel than chocolate.

This brew pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Caramel malt and mild hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, caramel and lightly bitter hops. The finish is sweet with a grainy malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can thanks to Bgthang pours light brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is toast and nutty malts. Very hearty with big bread and toasted almonds in the flavor. I like the finish with grassy hops ending dry. Good stuff.

On tap at Whip In. Pours a dark amber with beige head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a bready malt and caramel. Medoum mouthfeel with a dry finish. A decent alt from Hops amd Grain.
