Named for the Comanche chief Potsanaquahip of the Penataka band, this fierce India Pale Ale remains true to the American brewing spirit, delivering long lasting hop flavor and character. Buffalo Hump led the Great Raid of 1840 in retaliation for the Texan settlers’ betrayal under a white flag in San Antonio at the Council House Fight. This IPA represents the unrelenting spirit of our little brewery in north San Antonio, even when it becomes apparent we’ve brought knives to a gun fight. Inspired by bitter betrayal, this bitter brew will remind you to stay true to your sensibilities… and to your word! Ingredients: Belgian pale and crystal malts; four full-blooded varieties of American hops; top-fermenting Belgian yeast strain; natural, limestone-filtered, Edwards Aquifer H2O; Texas Pride.
