If you’re a Mountain Culture fan you know that our sour’s don’t come around that often, but when they do we put everything into them. In this case, it’s every last bit of fresh raspberry puree that we could get our hands on.
After kettle souring a light, wheaty base, we added in pulped raspberries by the bucket load to create a tart, refreshing sour ale that is made for drinking through the long, sunny evenings.

500ml can from Mountain Culture, Redfern, Sydney. Poured a murky light orange colour with a very short-lived, thin white head. The aroma is pure raspberry. The flavour is moderate sour, with a somewhat light, crisp, fizzy, tart raspberry palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
