Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Clear golden brown. Not really any head - a few small bubbles sporadically cling to the inner rim. Aroma has spir berries and sweet gluey nuts and malt. Flavourwise it's quite bitter and woody with a sour edge. Less sweet than the aroma suggested it would be. Although there are some underlying sweet malts. Boozy. A tad coarse for lack of a better term. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Alright, but as noted it's a tad coarse or raw and could do with.more.smoothness.
