A Zoiglbier, similar to a Kellerbier, is a traditional southern German lager.
Our Zoiglbier has been brewed with old fashioned barley grain 'Isaria' (last used in Germany in the 1920's) to create a rich, malty, biscuity, amber, medium-bodied profile.
This interpretation is of the old school style Kellerbier brewed in the communal town breweries of the Oberpfalzer forest region of Bavaria.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, yeasty. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, smooth yeasty, light herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.
