Dark, mysterious, and deeply rewarding. This stout pairs the bittersweet elegance of roasted cacao with a soft vanilla haze. A hidden heart of tangy apricot provides a neon flash of fruitiness against the black-coffee roasted malt base.

Draft at Borough Beer House, Farnham. Opaque cola brown. Thin foamy beige head. Aroma has sour coffee berries with light vanilla. Flavourwise it's suprisingly sour. All coffee and related berries. There is some cacao but it is am afterthought. Vanilla edge. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Not overly keen on this. The adjuncts are somewhat lost in the mix. Probably would have scored higher if I hadn't known that it was supposed to be cacao ans vanilla infused.

On tap at The Dust Hole, Salisbury, Wiltshire. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a thinnish off white head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit taste, aroma is more or less along the same lines. Bitter and sweet, unbalanced not particularly great.
