Moin is a warm greeting in Northern Germany that’s as welcome to hear as it is simple to say. (“Moin” is like “join” with an “M”.) That region’s Bier is the inspiration for this beer. Moin is used as “hello”, but relays friendly well wishes. Like a kindness wrapped in a salutation. Doing a little something that means a lot for someone is sometimes as easy as it sounds.

Speaking of salutations, the new school hops from the old world are first to say hello with a lovely meadow flower and lemon peel aroma. Next, the 100% Virginia grist greets you with its svelte biscuit and bread crust body. The old school hops join in the conversation midway through with that herbal nobility so familiar to so many in Northern Germany. Its firm and balanced bitterness builds until it fades oh so nicely into a medium-dry finish.
