On draft at the brewery it is a dark brown color with a slight ecru head. The aroma is chicory and the taste is a strong bitter coffee taste that mermaids I the palate with some hints of coffee beans.

On draft at the brewery. Pours aB clear deep cola with a tan head. Roasted malt aroma. Flavors of toasted nuts and cocoa powder. Bitter roast finish.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a very dark color, perhaps pitch black - maybe a touch of dark brown on the edges. Aroma was roasted malts, creamy notes.Flavor was about the same. Decent.

4 oz pour on draft at Three Notch’d Charlottesville. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roast, raisins. Tastes of dark chocolate, raisins, malt, caramel, roasty notes, oats. Medium body with a dry finish.

Draft at the source. Dark brown color. Aroma of burnt coffee grounds. Taste is very roasty coffee and cocoa. Nice.

Charred oak, soy sauce, charred meat nose. Black, thin yellow head. Charred oak, meaty, very subtle hint of mulberries. Creamy, frothy, medium body. Hearty.

Draft at Sedona. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized frothy brown head. Average head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, oats, mild herbal hops. The taste is roasted and sweet malts, oats, dark chocolate and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation, good balance, very drinkable.
