On draft at the brewery it is a dark brown color with a slight ecru head. The aroma is chicory and the taste is a strong bitter coffee taste that mermaids I the palate with some hints of coffee beans.

Draft at the brewery. I had this after the Java Stout and I could barely tell the difference. Pours dark down with little head. Smells of coffee and chocolates. Maybe some leaves. Tastes similar. OK, but again just wasn’t wowed.

Draft at Sedona. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized frothy brown head. Average head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, oats, mild herbal hops. The taste is roasted and sweet malts, oats, dark chocolate and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation, good balance, very drinkable.
