Draft pour at Novemberfest 2014. Poured a clear ruby color with a small off-white head. Aroma was spicy rye notes, some juicy citrus. Flavor was nice grapefruit citrus notes, with some grassy character, and a nice rye spice.

On draft at Rustico. Pours a clear deep copper with an off white head. Fruity citrus nose. Flavors of grapefruit with grassy notes. Bitter finish.

On draft at rustico novemberfest It is a caramel color with a flight head the aroma is citrus. The taste is a strong grapefruit flavor that resonates bitter on the palate

Draft at the source. Hazy amber color, tan head. Aroma of spiced rye bread. taste is nicely balanced and spicy.

Sweet malt nose, subtle, biscuity, zwieback. Clear copper, medium yellow head, abundant glass adherence. Lightly sweet malt which swiftly becomes very woody and pleasantly bitter. Decidedly unfruity and rustic, but that’s not really a bad thing. Soft and nearly cask-like. I don’t usually go for this type of beer, but I quite enjoyed it.
