This English Ale (a Special Bitter) presents with a wonderful white frothy head. It has a beautiful garnet/orange color, bready-malt and citrus hoppy aroma, with a rich, smooth caramel-malty but also crisp finish. This is an an extremely flavorful and refreshing session beer.

Draft at the source. Clear golden color. Aroma of hay and straw. Taste is medicinal hay. A bit messy.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a thin tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malt, apple, floral hops. The taste is toasted caramel malt, floral hops. Medium bodied, low carbonation.
