A super hoppy tribute to the classic American red ale, hopped with US Cascade and Mosaic, dry with aromatic malt flavour, robust and bitter finish.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a deep ruby with a small scummy cream head and good lacing. There’s berry fruit and floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and fruity with floral hops and strawberries. Later there is some gradually increasing bitterness plus hints of chewy sweets, dark fruits and nuts, Finish is dry and somewhat bitter. This is decent – not at all what I expected.
