Testarossa IPA takes inspiration from the world of Italian amaro. A beautiful citrusy & piney aroma from the spices & hops leads to a clean dry finish from the gentian leaving an ale that compliments many dishes.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale dark yellow to copper color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: juniper/piney scent, herbal to grassy hop character, some orange peel
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet herbal to sweet citrusy and a light bitter quality; finishes semi-dry with a light piney tone
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness and a touch of piney bitterness which seems to brush the tongue lightly
Overall: pretty good IPA I think I could come back to.
