Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger's worth of eggshell white frothy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasted dark malts, light notes of black coffee, some caramel notes, earthiness and a little bit of dark chocolate
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty to subtle bitterness; finishes leading with the dark malts - somewhat roasty
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also some roastiness grinding into the tongue ever so slightly
Overall: nice enough porter, I think I could come back to.
