A refined malt bill delivers a stunning ruby hue and subtle sweetness, balanced by the tropical hop character that made Green Mountain a favourite.

Can. Pours a light red colour with a tight white head, plenty of hops and fruit in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness and a touch watery, with a dry bitter finish.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a bright ruby with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. There’s berry fruits and floral hops in the aroma, plus a few hints of pine. In the mouth it is slightly bitter with a creamy texture. Flavour has floral hops, pine and ginger. After a while some underlying sweetness can be detected, plus hints of red fruit leading to a somewhat fruity finish. This is decent – more a true red colour than the last Red IPA I had from Thornbridge (Ripple Effect).

Large tight white head on a reddish amber coloured body.
Berry, spruce & spiced aroma.
Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a lively cloying back.
Resinous, red berry, caramel & sliced tastes with a malt backbone & peppery finish.
Very tasty.
