A bold and decadent stout aged 15 months in a freshly emptied Russell's Reserve bourbon barrel. After its nap in the barrel we conditioned it on some Filthy Black Cherries and coconut cream. Expect a velvety body with notes of chocolate covered cherries, subtle coconut, and bourbon soaked oak.

Sample at Forbidden Root during the "Dankhouse Tap Takeover" event on 09/19/2025. Flat black pour with a thin beige head that dissipates quickly to a nil outer ring. Sparse small patches of lace. Aroma of oak, cherry and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, dark chocolate, malt and coconut. The finish is oaky with a chocolate-covered cherry and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.
