Bottle from Big Ridge Liquor Store, Surrey
Cloudy deep blond color; small head, not much retention. The aroma has some wheat, hazelnuts, plastic, alcohol. The mouthfeel is quite dry; some wheat flavor, the bitterness is a bit too high, and a bit harsh; the final, therefore, is somehow disturbing. For sure not one for me.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of oranges, malt, wheat, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, straw, alcohol, peaches, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle 100 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Sweet yeasty nose. Solid body, sweet banana accents and cloves, quite yeasty with a ton of pretty harsh phenols. Pretty bitter and sulphurous finish. 080411

Bottle. Milky yellow, white head. Dry spicy aroma, mainly clove. Sweet base, orangepeel, light candied Ginger, clove. Chewy, sparkly mouthfeel. Deceptively light on the palate and easy to drink - feels like a regular hefeweizen. Banana And very light alcohol retronasal.

Swing top bottle thanks to someone at Sour Fest. Pours with a hazy golden body and a small white head. Aroma is banana, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is banana, vanilla and clove. Alcohol is slightly more hidden on the palate than it was in the aroma.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours cloudy blond / orange. Aroma and flavour of banana, caramel malt, citrus, clove and wheat. The higher ABV is not noticeable, but the taste is full-bodied. Delicious offering from Howe Sound.
