Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark orange close cloudiness with a two finger white foamy head which slipped off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: slightly banana to stiff sort of sweet cherry with a little bit of peachy sweetness then some lemony tones; light malts way down in there
Flavor: mostly leads with the lemony to peachy and slight cherry hop notes; lingering finish of the lemon to peachy notes and the malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, semi-sessionable; some smoothness but also a gentle hop bitterness assertiveness - nothing over the top - just noticeable
Overall: these new HBC-630 hops seem cool and I hope they catch on. I'd return to this beer!
