Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with an off white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has earthy dark grains and pine with a slight earthiness. Flavor has growing pine and light resin with an earthy dark grain backbone.

Dark brown with giant tan head. Chocolate malt, ash, pine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Lightly sweet chocolate malt, and moderately bitter ash and pine flavor. Light body.
