Black with a beige head. Good base layer of roasted coffee, burnt malts, earthy, a hint of smoke, bitter cocoa. Medium bodied. Finish is long and full of deep roasted malts and dark chocolate. A very well-made stout that is on the bolder side of the style. Lovely.

Taste is medium bitter, roasty bitter, with a hint of chocolate sweetness. Final is average in length, but intense and rich, coffeeish and earthy.
