Huge head, receding over fully hazy orange beer. Smoked, sulphur, peat, horseblanket. Sweet-sour, smoked - in very remarkably good balance. Bit mineral, almost seafruit. Restrained acidity, acidthinning, good carbonation, wheatslick. I had smoked gueuze befor, but this one excells.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, creamy white head. Aroma: A lot of rural funk, manure, citrus fruit notes. Taste: Again a lot of rural funk, citrus fruit, subtle notes of peated malt coming and going. Oak wood. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Quite weird combination of flavors. Something (the peated malt or the funky part) is pushing away the refreshing fruity part of a Geuze that I'm used too. Moderate tartness, light bitterness. Normally I love peated beers and it's not in an unpleasant way, but I can't decide yet wether to like it or not... It's a bit messy in my opinion. But I'm curious how it will age.
