Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark amber color with a two and a half fingers of off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: earthy to grassy hops; light caramel/toffee malts and a little bit of toasted nuts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine malty to nutty sweet quality; finishes brisk through the malts and nutty tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also a bit of earthy grit nicking the tongue a bit but mostly non-offensive
Overall: nice enough amber ale I might be able to come back to.
