Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely but barely left any lace
Aroma: caramel/toffee malts up front with a kind earthiness in the middle then a light maple sweetness underneath but gently intertwining
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a mostly sweet arrangement and pushing back the earthiness a bit now; finishes mixing the maple sweetness with a semi-dry earthiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also noted dryness across the tongue
Overall: I liked this beer and the fact that the maple syrup seemed to be right where it's supposed to be without it becoming cloying.
