As we did last year, we dedicate this beer to our close friend whom we lost last year. This was his favourite beer and we miss him a ton! This one’s for you Ben.
Malt: Maris Otter, Caramel, Roasted Barley, Roasted Wheat
Hops: German Tettnanger, Cluster
Additions: Chicory Root
Yeast: British Ale

On tap at Shaketown. Pours black with a beige nitro head. Light toasted malts on the nose. Flavour has toasted malts and a pleasant chicory character. Not super complex or roasty, but the chicory saves it.
