This spicy fibrous life-force of a rhizome is embraced to fortify vitality. To declare a paralleling with history of BEER is not too far afield! A malt ferment is a more than fitting audience for the earthy and grounded ginger. Amber colored but light bodied this brew features Munich malt for a color, rye malt compliment the zingy rhizome and Saaz hops for a peppery bitterness. The GINGER AMBER ALE stands steadfast; balanced and crisp with a toasty kiss of ginger.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: a beautiful dark amber color with a finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light sticky messy lace
Aroma: great blend of the ginger spicy to sweet tones to a light caramel malt and a touch of rye malt
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-spicy quality with an underscore of bitterness and a little bit of floral sweetness; brisk finish of some dry tones of the rye and a pinch of the ginger
Texture: somewhere between light and medium bodied, semi-sessionable; light smoothness as the rye and ginger seem to get slightly aggressive here, though not overbearing - it is noticeable
Overall: not a bad attempt of taking an amber ale and modernizing it to be something different.
