This 7% ABV brew delivers a punch of pine and resin, balanced with bright citrus and subtle tropical fruit notes. The dry-hopped blend of Mosaic and Amarillo hops brings a crisp bitterness that gives way to a smooth, slightly sweet finish.

Cheap can from chalet. Perfectly clear pale with a nice creamy foam head that stays. Nose is fresh pine perfume. First big swig seems to be dead on style plain old IPA of the older merickan style, circa 2010. Its big, forward and bad on the taste buds, no mercy bitterness. Seems that super high amounts of hops added early in the brewing process, fer sher. Not as mouth coating as more vicious IPA. In this sample, isomerised alpha acids create a rude sharp, biting, and lingering flavor along with a an extended nasty finish. I'm thinking like the original purpose of these hops, a medicinal bitterness acting as a preservative and defining this nasty style's characteristic. The finish is unbalanced and overrunning any detectable malt body. Whew, what else can be said? If you like the plain old original style IPA, give this a try.
