Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left some light lace
Aroma: sweet oatmeal notes, milk chocolate, some dark chocolate; subtle vanilla and a little bit of maple syrup
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine variety of sweet tones with a mild bitterness slyly rising from underneath; finishes leaning into the sweetness of those aromas
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; very smooth along the tongue and nothing distracting; good carb
Overall: a pretty nicely done breakfast stout I would return to.
