Bomber, $10.99, Wine Warehouse. Though the bottle says nothing about v2.0, I’m going with this one because it is 10% abv and matches the commercial deScription. My soul must be black as hell, because this beer pours black, thick, and with soft brown head. Laces nicely down the glass. Aroma of chocolates, deep dark coffee, slight dark fruits, and slight dish soap. Taste is a big kick. Thick mouth of lightly sweet chocolates, dark fruit (perhaps cherry, but not all that specific), caramel, dish soap. Beautiful.

Draft at Adroit Theory (Ghost 028), 4 ounce pour into a mini snifter. Pours jet black with a nice tan head. Aromas of big roast, coffee, and chocolates. Big roast and some wood on the taste along with coffee, cocoa, and bitter hops. Medium body. Also tried the nitro version (creamier) and randall version with dried fruit (fruit was not very detectable for me).

375 ml bottle provided by Willrunforbeer, thanks Brian. Dark brown /black with a low carbonation level without any head. Aroma is smashed nuts shells, walnuts, cashews and dark fruits but mostly nuts.

Flavor is very earthy. No fruit to speak of, cherry or otherwise. The flavor is earthy malts, anise, nuts and light traces of booze. The body is on the real lean side for a Imperial stout. Kind of an off putting bitterness. Not from a hop at all, really odd.

375ml bottle I picked up at the brewery. #42/450. Pours an oily black with some cloudy, beige head. Nose is malty, molasses, mild smoke, a little roasted mushroom, rubber, pencil lead. Flavor has some more breadiness, malt, toast, heavy molasses, pencil lead, raisin, mild smoke. Full bodied finish.

Consumed on draft at Beltway Brewing - (Ghost 028). Poured a very dark black color, medium body with a medium sized tan head - lots of lacing. Aroma is major woody notes. Dark roasted and toasted malts, barrel, some light char. Mouthfeel is a bit lighter than I would have expected. Wood, barrel, plenty of roasted malts in this one. Was hoping for a bit more "chocolate" or coffee in this one, but it was interesting enough.
