This is a classic dry stout brewed with whole oysters in the boil. Expect a smooth roasty body balanced by the pleasant spiciness of East Kent Golding hops, and a hint of brine from the shellfish.

$6.99 bomber from Wine Warehouse. Dark brown with a large light brown head. Smells of coffee, chocolates, and a hint of the sea. Taste is bitter, coppery, light chocolate candy.

Walnut and seaweed aroma, charcoal accent. Black, medium tan head. Tangy, odd for a stout. Charcoal flavor. Rather sweet on the back of the palate. Light body, astringent. This didnβt work for me at all.

Bomber from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours dark brown with a medium sized frothy brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of big chocolate notes, mineral notes and a bit of roast. The taste is dark fruits, roast, big chocolate, earthy and mineral notes from the oyster. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Solid stout. Iβm glad that Legend is continuing itβs recent streak of great new beers.
