This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a soft hazy pale orange in the center lightening to a pale off white closer to the sides. Light stringy lacing clings in a messy sort of way.
The smell starts off with a orange pulp strolling into some extra sweet lemon and a light bitter citrus rind to lightly blend.
The taste was mainly sweet with the little bit of bitter rind to add some extra flavor. The aftertaste takes the citrus with the bitterness and finally, yes, the yeastiness shows up to balance. There’s no finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation comes across really light leading to a spectacular smoothness over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good witbier worthy of having again, extremely sessionable and worthy of having with it’s respected food.
