Can to lager glass.
Appearance: dark auburn/brown with darker hues getting close to black in the middle with a two and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet caramel notes; earthy/tree bark notes; some coffee grounds, light cocoa powdery tones and bready notes
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to earthy bitter character; finishes semi-dry with sweet earthy to caramel and bready hints
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness and some light dryness on the tongue
Overall: mostly works for me as a Dunkel lager, I could return to this beer.
