This porter wasn’t carefully planned, it was called into existence by higher powers and a set of Tungsten Arrows. A brand-new dartboard. Covered in ingredients. Bullseyes became the recipe. The arrows landed on Chit, Medium Crystal and Chocolate malts, with Simcoe and Sabro hops along for the ride. That combo dragged us straight down the line of full-blown tropical porter chaos. Chocolate meets coconut. Roast collides with ripe fruit. Logic optional. The rest? You’ll have to taste it to believe it.

Keg at Brewdog Waterloo. A opaque jet black brown coloured pour with a dwcent light tan head. Aroma is earthy roasted barley, dry roast, robust, some jammy apple notes, liquorice. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jammy, raspberry ripple shortcake bun, chocolate, oily, mellow roast, marshmallow. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow carbonation. Maybe a little adjunct for a porter. Ok.

Keg at the source. Dark. Slightly opaque brown tinge. Creamy beige head. Aroma has dark chocolate and burnt nuts. I like. Flavourwise it's Creamy with a tangy edge. Then develops mocha (but more coffee than cacao). Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish
Noice.
Noice.
