Reviewed from notes.
On tap at C.H. Evans.
Poured into a lager glass.
Appearance: clear copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left a little bit of light lace
Aroma: soft floral to mixed citrusy sort of hoppiness with a light malty backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet quality with a light zesty hop tone underneath; finishes somewhat zesty with a certain hop sweetness undercut by some clingy malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness to this but also a little bit of hop nicking to the tongue; good carb level
Overall: not a bad lager but to say it's a full fledged Czech pilsener might be a stretch.
