Reviewed from notes.
On tap at C.H. Evans on 11/21/2020
Appearance: ruddy red color with a slight transparency about it and a bar pour's kind of slim white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left a light lace
Aroma: caramel, subtle toffee, sweet nuttiness, and some chocolate with some earthy hops
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet tone amplified by the caramel and nutty qualities and a light bitter earthy quality; finishes malty with some earthy hops in a slight dry sort of way
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness about the tongue with nothing distracting
Overall: nice enough amber ale I could see myself coming back if I could.
