Poured into a mug.
Appearance: rich looking ruddy orange close to brown color with a finger's worth of off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: rich caramel/toffee malts, sweet earthiness and a great balance of some maple in there
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a variety of different sweet levels; finishes sweet but not overly done in any respect
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; extremely smooth along the tongue but definitely maintains it's beer - level mentality, good carb level
Overall: a very nicely done Maibock where the maple isn't overly done.
