A smooth oatmeal coffee stout with local fresh ground roasted coffee. Think sweet molasses, toasted malts and complex chocolatey bitterness from the coffee and dark malts. Collaboration with The Lost Barn Coffee Roasters.

Cask at Horse & Jockey, Penkridge. Pours a dark ruby with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. Coffee to the fore in the aroma along with cocoa and roasted malts. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, but with some hints of bitterness underneath. Flavour is briefly autumn fruits before mellow roasted coffee quickly takes control. Hints too of chicory, oranges and roasted malts. This is decent.
