Barley, Oats, Crystal and Chocolate malts provide a sturdy, malty base while heavy additions of Calypso, Lemondrop, Citra and Cascade hops add a lively and refreshing punch of citrus.

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at C.H. Evans
Appearance: dark amber close to dark brown color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some lemon to mixed citrusy hop tones; punchy piney hops then a caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes piney and lemony with some caramel malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also a medium to low hop bitterness assertiveness that to me isn't bothersome but just noticeable
Overall: not a bad amber ale that I think I could give another chance.
