Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: glossy honey to almost copper color with a slight transparency about it and a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet herbal and sweet floral hops with a little bit of honey sweetness and then a touch of lemongrass; biscuity malts underneath
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas together in a slight sweet to semi-bitter quality; finishes semi-crisp with herbal/sweet grassy/pizza spices' notes
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness with nothing distracting; good carb
Overall: yeah, I think I can see this as an Italian pilsener which is what the brewer says they're going for with this and for once unlike many other Italian pilseners this isn't oily in the feel - kinda makes me wonder about some of those other "Italian pilseners," hmmmm...
