Brewed with dulse harvested in Northern Ireland and dried over open-fire. Ember layers a subtle coastal smokiness with Riwaka bringing bright lime, grapefruit and citrus. The interplay is delicate with savoury, saline edges meeting lifted hop aromatics and a gentle, rounded mouthfeel. A pale ale shaped by shoreline influence, uniquely expressing the experience of being by the sea at low tide.

Appearance is straw, some haze, a 2-3 finger big white head. Aroma- cereal, toasty malt, smoke traces, toasted corn, citrus fruit in the background. Taste is toasted malty cereal, citrus fruit, hop bitterness, definitely get the savoury vibe. Different for sure.

Keg at the tap. Opaque amber. Thin foamy white head. Aroma has brine and light smoke over fruit. Flavourwise it's somehow muted with light smoke, lighter Britney salt and a hint of fruit.. a late burst of citrus. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close doused with pissy NZ hop strokes.
Tidy kit ... file under quirky/unusual.

Pours lightly hazed with a thin white cap. Ripe citrus fruit, dank hop, nice subtle hint of smoke. Light smoky finish. Decent. Well balanced
