Our 700th batch, this imperial stout was conditioned in stainless with cinnamon whiskey oak cubes for over 90 days. The result is a thick creamy dark ale that drinks clean but has a delicate hint of cinnamon and a barrel-aged stout's whiskey flavor profile.

Can to snifter. Purchased in late 12/2021 to early 01/2022 and consumed on 02/27/2022.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a quarter finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: fresh "barrel" - sweet and spicy tones (sweet woody oaky like note rolling into some vanilla but also seems extremely faint); slight whiskey sweetness; clean sweet earthy whiffs
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine semi-spicy to light sweet vibe with an even lighter roasty note underneath; finishes about the same way
Texture: medium to full bodied; great sipper; light smooth notes but also some barrel heat (wasn't too harsh as I've had many other beers way worse); good carb
Overall: part of me thinks I should have waited longer on consuming this beer but it still made for a fine Winter's evening sipper.
