Inspired by the modern IPAs our brewers drink en masse whenever they visit the West Coast, ‘Knotty By Nature’ is hyper pale in color, with clean but pronounced bitterness, aggressive hop character, and a dry finish.

Built on a base of Pilsner malt, We hopped this one hot-side with Citra, Mosaic, and copious amounts of Simcoe. After fermentation was complete, we dumped in truly heinous levels of Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra, and Nectaron.

We’re getting notes of zesty tangerine, heady dankness, pithy tropical fruits, ripe stonefruit, & hanging out on the sunny patio of your favorite IPA-centric California brewery.
