Now that Dry January is behind us, it's time to look forward to Valentine's Day and springtime. What better way to celebrate both, than this crisp, quaffable marriage of decadent dark chocolate, raspberry, and our blonde ale. At 4.5%, it's a wonderful way to slip back into beer season with your special someone.

Can from chalet. Nose is raspberry backed with a little chocolate, a very nice aroma! Very clear pale with a giant white head that fades to nothing after a few mins. First taste is very disappointing, nothing like the attractive bouquet. Yea, this is first quite bitter, unnecessarily so. Something like a phenoilic or industrial bitterness. To call this a blonde is very misleading, this has got to be one of the slutty blondes of yore. Now in the middle, maybe I'm getting barely a little bit of reaspberry and just maybe some chocolate. Wow, the label of this says dark chocolate raspberry, and there is this picture of a raspberry dripping with dark chocolate. You think that looks good? Once you peel of this blondes nickers, this has got to be one of the most misleading labels I've seen in a while. Come on NH. This seems like somebody made an experiment of a brew that just didn't work, so they labeled it and sent it out anyway. Didn't somebody at the brewery taste this before it was released? Just asking.
