Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Meridian Pint we present to our punters an English style Winter Warmer. Initial nutty aromas followed by flavors that are big rich, malted milk ball-like with a dark cacao finish. Full bodied with a good dose of English First Gold hops. A warming beer to get you through the Columbia Heights cold winter nights.

Guest tap at Right Proper. Deep brown maroon color, thick beige head with goid retention and solid lacing. Aroma of cocoa powder. Taste is dark winter fruit dipped in coffee. Not bad. And nice to see this at a drinkable abv.

Draft at Mad Fox. Pours a brownish black with a finger of tan head. Aromas of cocoa, caramel, slight dark fruit, vanilla. Tastes of cocoa, caramel, roast, coffee, vanilla, light spices. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Dry finish.
Had the cask version on 2/28/14. Creamier, less carbonation, and less cold than draft, otherwise similar. Like the cask version a bit more due to the mouthfeel and temperature.

Cask at Mad Fox, just tapped ("tap that cask... yeah"). Poured a nice, dark color with dark brown edges. Nice Creamy Cask Pour. Aroma was light milk chocolate, some light spices. Flavor was mostly roasted malts, with some creamy chocolate, and light, pleasant spices. Tasty.
