A curious, tart, slightly funky Mixed Culture Ale as original as it is relatable.
You don’t have to be a Saccharomyces Cerevisiae and Brettanomyces blend aged for 20 months in Oak Puncheons to be country. Country is more than guitars and big hats. Country is more than a proprietary mix of yeast cultures which produces a lightly tart and minimally funky ale. Country is alive, diverse, gritty, glorious and raw. Country Funk is a new, old Mixed Culture Ale.
Brewer's Notes: Brettanomyces blend and Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Aged for 20 months in Oak Puncheons.

On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of mixed bugs, some oak, light tropical fruits, some acidity. Flavour is moderately acidic upfront, with stone fruit, light oak, mixed bugz, and some citrusy. Rather sharp and perhaps not optimally refined. Pleasant enough.
