Nordbyen beer is an India Pale Ale, which with its light color, white foam and good bitterness provides a wonderful taste experience. The hops are in focus and are a blend of German Magnum, as well as the American hops: Amarillo and Simcoe.
In the northwestern part of Randers we find Nordbyen, which contains many different types of housing. Along Mariagervej there are larger areas with retail, as well as the old Randers Barracks, which was built in 1940. Among the recreational areas are Nordre Fælled. An area of approximately 140 hectares, which contains forest, grassland, campfire sites, playgrounds, etc. In Nordbyen we also find one of Denmark's few indoor athletics facilities: Langvang Idrætscenter.
