Strong Spring-Summer lager brewed with 6 malts & flaked oats. A smooth, toasted & bready brew with notes of freshly baked biscuits; lagered for 8 weeks.

Tap at Bluejacket. Red-orange-brown body. Creamy, very steady head. Sort of odd aroma. Has the sweetness, and then some. The cacao nibs really smooth it out. The grape root (?) is really odd. Not bad, but not really better in any way than a straight forward Maibock.

Draft at the source. Hazy amber color. Aroma of toast and mixed nuts. Taste is smooth toasted brown bread.

Grape root indeed tastes like root but usually I don’t chew a lot of that part of the plant. Amber pour, astringent finish. Tap at brewpub.

Taster at the source thanks to Travlr and solidfunk. Poured a murky golden color. Aroma was light malt, sweetness. Flavor was light malt, sweet bready notes, grape root?
