Our Tripel is a tribute to the monastic brewing tradition. It was in the monasteries of Europe that the secret knowledge of brewing was perfected and alchemy wed divinity.

Half pour on draft at Right Proper. Hazy golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of white wine, citrus, herbs. Tastes of stone fruit, citrus, white wine, herbs and spices, some booze. Medium body with a dry finish.

At brewpub: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is spice, fruitiness, and light hops. Taste is fruity, rather sweet, and has a spicy hoppy finish. Of all the beers that I had at the brewpub, this was my least favorite one. Something just didn’t click for me.

Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, white head. Aroma of lightly dusty hay. Taste is dry peppery straw. OK.

Not bad for style. Light coriander comes together with light floral hops. A little too bitter for style with some hops. Pours amber golden with good head and lacing. Tap at brewpub.
