Gyle No. 485. Our second iteration of a light lager, this beer is designed to be eminently drinkable without sacrificing flavour. We used flaked maize in the grist to lighten the body, and a German Bock yeast for a delicate ester profile. 3.9%

Panda thanks to Fergus. Pours clear pale yellow gold with no real head. Clean malt, a little grassy hop, straw, a little citrus. Not bad for 8 years old.

Pulled out of the back of the fridge, because Lachlan turned the fridge up to 5 and it was at risk of freezing. A mostly clear yellow straw coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is earthy cereal, straw, damp hay, light tang, lemon squeeze. Flavour is composed of light earthy grains, cereal, green straw, light zippy citrus, apple esters. Palate is light semi crisp, light grains, moderate carbonation. Held up pretty well since ~ 2018?
