Can to lager glass.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a two finger off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: earthy sweet to wet grains to some black coffee tones with roastiness and a rounded cocoa powdery edge
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bitter to earthy blend; finishes dry, earthy and light notes of black coffee
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; good smoothness with a little bit of roasted prickly-ness nicking the tongue; good carb level
Overall: nicely done dark lager worth coming back to.
