This easy-drinking farmhouse ale is reminiscent of traditional European saisons, but with a few flavorful twists all its own. Using Golding, Sterling and Meridian hops results in a sweet yet lightly spiced flavor. This incredibly refreshing farmhouse ale bears the name of the farm to market road just to the south of where our brewery has proudly stood for over 100 years.

12oz bottle. FIltered orange-tan body, active big carbonation bubbles rising. Thin, soda like head. Definitely in the spiced US variety, doesn’t bare much resemblance to a good Belgian example in it’s mouthfeel. Cleanish in it’s filtration, but kind of a flowery mess with the spices sort of limiting and hop flavors. A touch grainy in the finish. Drinkable, but not that impressive of an offering.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a strong clove yeast and pepper. Thin mouthfeel with a light spice and honey with sweet finish. Easy to drink, a good saison from Spoetzl.
