This beer is our representation of the style hailing all the way from Köln Germany. We deeply respect how serious they are about their Kölsch over there, it is one of the most strictly defined beer styles in all of Germany. Having tasted and loving many Kölsch beers in the city of Köln we couldn’t wait bring this taste of German tradition here to Vermont.
Kaiser was the playful nickname given to our German Shepherd. This beer encapsulates his special heritage exhibiting a light body balanced with a refreshing and clean finish.

Can to stange glass.
Appearance: almost clear copper color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral to earthy hop notes with a nice clean biscuity malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine clean sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes crisp with a touch of dry and a light floral hop note
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; great smoothness with nothing distracting; good carb level
Overall: I say a pretty good Kolsch worth coming back to.
